Flat Rock, Our Hometown is Hosting its second annual Easter Egg Hunt. This FREE, open to the public event, is sure to be a perfect day!

We will have The Easter Bunny in a special photo tent for personal cell phone/camera photos, a castle bounce house, a racing slide, Balloon Artists, Face Painters, hot cocoa from Biggby Coffee & cookies from S&J’s CupCakery.

New this year is pre-registration for the event. You may do so by visiting or calling the Flat Rock Community Center at 734-379-1250 prior to March 16. You will need to provide your name and contact information and the ages of your children.
Upon check in at the Easter Egg Hunt, your child will receive a wrist band that identifies them by age group for the egg hunt or marshmallow drop. There is NO COST for the event. Registration will be required, so we ask that you register in advance to save time the day of the event.

***Parking will be available at the Flat Rock Public Library off of Aspen & Gibraltar Road & also at Flat Rock High School off of Evergreen Street just north of Gibraltar Road.

City Hall Parking lot will be CLOSED for this event to allow FRFD to stage the Fire Truck and space for volunteers and deliveries***
There will be 2 to 3 age groups depending on the number of registrants. Children will be placed into the appropriate group by colored wrist band at check in.

AGES 1-4 Easter Egg Hunt in open field (volunteers there to assist)
AGES 5- 10 Marshmallow Drop Courtesy of the Flat Rock Fire Dept. (Possibly 2 groups…stay tuned!)

We Will Have “Golden Eggs” with special prizes

SCHEDULE
1:00pm – Registration check-in at the warming building.

1:45-2 Welcoming including, rules, information and sponsor recognition.

2:00pm Easter Egg Hunt, 1-4 year olds.

2:30pm Marshmallow Drop(s)

3:00 Begin exchanging Eggs/Marshmallows for a bag filled with candy (please, one (1) bag per child)

ALL DAY FUN: Enjoy some Hot Cocoa & Cookies! Photo time with the Easter Bunny! Get in the castle bounce house, race down the slide, get your face painted & have a balloon artist create something cool just for your child/children! Entertainers end promptly at 4pm. Visit the Flat Rock Historical Society.

Play in our PlayScape for as long as you’d like!
Most importantly… HAVE FUN!!!
Warming building will be open for restroom facilities and registration.
Please provide your child’s bag for the hunt/drop.
